Hello teachers,

I don't know about you, but I am a huge fan of podcasts.

Over the last couple of years, it has occurred to me how valuable they could be in providing support for teachers.

In January, I launched the brand-new LessonStream Video Course, which offers an exclusive podcast for participants.

More recently, I have been creating podcasts to accompany LessonStream lesson plans.

Would you like to hear one?

Fly Fishing by J.R. Hartley

If you were in the UK in the 1980s, you might remember this book.

It featured in an incredibly successful advert that has left a cultural legacy.

In the podcast, I tell the story, walk you through the activity and offer tips and guidance along the way.

When I was around 14 years old, I secretly wanted to be a comedian. This was the UK in the 1980s, when ...

What is videotelling?
To be human is to tell stories. Whether you're sharing one in a conversation, job interview, presentation, podcast or on a date, storytelling is a skill we can all improve. Learning storytelling is like learning a musical instrument – it takes practice. And to practise telling stories, we need stories to tell. For this, we can turn to sites like YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. These platforms pr...
