Teeth
Two old friends are fishing on a lake. When one of them sneezes and loses his false teeth, the other starts laughing uncontrollably. Neither is ready for what happens next.
In this lesson, students listen to the story before retelling it from their own chosen perspective. Along the way, they explore narrative tenses, reflect on practical jokes and develop their storytelling skills.
The story is based on the short film by Ruairà O'Brien and John Kennedy – a comic tale of friendship, mischief and poetic justice.
It never fails to surprise students or get a laugh.
